For our dedicated client facility management company ISS International Czech Republic we are looking for a right candidate on a position of General Manager.
The GM Czech Republic reports to the Partnership Countries Director Europe. The position has fullresponsibility for the overall safety and performance of the ISS business in Czech Rep andincluding P&L responsibility, execution contract scopes of works as well as the implementation ofstrategic programs as directed by the corporation. The GM is responsible for the overallmanagement of the Business entity and is required to ensure that the company meets allrequired compliance standards in country and within the ISS Group.
What you’ll do
Client Relationship
- In country escalation point with client representative for respective accounts
- Build and maintain good customer relations
- Respond efficiently&effectively to customer complaints and requests
- Drive the teams to demonstrate urgency in closure of client issues
People
- Maintain good employee relations
- Manage performance of staff (includes conducting performance appraisals in line withISS policy)
- Handle industrial relations issues
- Implement staff management policies & procedures
- Identify and implement development plans for direct reports
- Ensure that all staff are motivated and performing to the
Finance
- Meet Financial targets for P&L
- Ability to perform bottoms up Budget and ROI calculations
- Manage expenditure within budget
- Oversee the procurement processes to ensure corporate compliance
Operations
- Keep current on all account operational activity across all accounts
- Facilitate retention of existing business
- Drive the transition for Contact Wins
- Ensure effective administrative procedures and policies are implemented throughout thebusiness
- Ensuring cost-effectiveness of procurement processes with excellent negotiation skillswith vendors
- Ensure asset management and inventory management processes are followed
- Procedures around Vendor management and contract management are adhered to
- Conducting audits and inspections for facilities-related matters for allocated premises
Business Entity Operations
- Required to ensure the proper running of the company
- Ensure at proper filing is conducted by the company secretary in compliance to legalrequirements
- Oversee the management of company cash flow
- Drive and set standards withing the organisation
Safety
- Ensure that the Safety Statement & associated policies & procedures are fullyimplemented
- Manage the requirements of the Safety Quality and Environmental ManagementSystems
- Implement a risk management approach to managing health & safety (includesensuring that risk assessments are completed for all tasks on all sites).
who we are looking for
- Excellent Leadership skills and a proven track record in setting the agenda
- Contract Management Experience required minimum 5-10 years relevant experience
- Excellent Computer Literacy
- Excellent Czech and English Language skills
- Knowledge and practical experience of Facilities Management
- Understanding of all relevant health and safety legislation
- Proven experience of budget management and financial analysis
- Minimum: Bachelor Degree in Facilities/Building Management/ Engineering/ Business
Administration/ Management or its equivalent - At least 5 years’ of related experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate
environment - Liaison with clients and service providers at all levels will be required therefore sound
communication and negotiating skills are essential - Building trust and engagement
- Flexible & adaptable
- You will be enthusiastic and self-motivating and have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a customer focused environment
- Drive and adaptability to ensure that challenging targets are met.
