We are now welcoming candidates for Accounts Receivable Clerk!
Join our vibrant finance team and take on the key role of Accounts Receivable Clerk, where you will manage the essential billing and collection processes for a leading hospitality brand.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is contributing and supporting the Accounts Receivable for the efficient operation of Billing and Collection and all activities related to credit control, billing and collection.
What you will do:
- Accounts Receivable Processing: Ensure a smooth operation of billing and collection in full compliance with the policy, regulatory and contractual framework.
- Client Relations and Reconciliation: Collaborate with clients to resolve discrepancies, ensuring smooth financial transactions and maintaining positive relationships.
- Revenue Management: Work closely with sales and finance teams to monitor revenue, track outstanding payments, and support forecasting and budgeting efforts tailored to the hospitality sector.
- Compliance and Control: Contribute and support the department for the efficient operation of Billing and Collection and all activities related to credit control, billing and collection.
- Financial Reporting: Compile and analyze revenue data to produce reports on collections, outstanding balances, and client payment trends, supporting our commitment to financial stability.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a liaison across departments, including Commercial, Sales, Operations, and Front Office, to enhance financial accuracy and support efficient hotel operations.
What we are looking for:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and financial software; experience with hospitality-specific tools is a plus (Birchstreet)
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections
- Attention to Detail: Precision in managing client accounts and ensuring accuracy in all financial documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and maintain positive client relations (communication in both English and Czech language)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience in hospitality finance is an advantage.
