THE ROLE: Senior Financial Accountant
- Drive the transition of GL processes and the local set up
- Coordinate and participate in the monthly closing process
- Prepare month-end journal entries and complete general ledger account analysis.
- Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting analysis.
- Perform actual to budget variance analysis.
- Prepare assigned account reconciliations and detailed financial analysis.
- Assist with adherence to and development of internal control framework and accounting work flow
- Assist with the preparation of financial reporting packages .
- Prepare and provide requested information for external auditors.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget.
REQUIREMENTS:
ESSENTIALS
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- Fluent English language
- Advanced proficiency in French
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting
- Excel user
ADVANTAGES
