THE ROLE:
A Production Manager is a key figure in managing, supervising and coordinating suppliers to produce each client design. In order to do this effectively, he/she must be highly organized, good communicator, negotiator, planner, and team player. As he/she is constantly and closely working with other teams and colleagues like designers, CAD engineers, production managers, logistics, installation teams and finance department. A Production Manager complements the project team in the means of managing supplier production, overseeing the stages of assembly and packing of articles in the right time frame.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of suppliers – By maintaining and improving relationships with all suppliers.
- Internal and external communication channels – By been the key contact for internal teams as well as suppliers linked to projects.
- Coordination of production – By setting, tracking and planning the supplier production to meet delivery times accordingly.
- Documentation of the project – By ensuring that all relevant documentation meets the relevant quality, including meta data, materials, bills and overall stages drawing.
- Control of the quality – By planning with Quality Managers relevant inspections at supplier sites and components been delivered.
- Handling claims – By managing all relevant claims connected to missing or damaged products
- Identifying new Suppliers/Technologies – By being always on the look out for ways to improve quality, cost and overall raw materials.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in relevant production area
- Able to grasp specifics about the industry, which includes production processes, materials and retail environments.
- Excellent in communication skills in both spoken and in written for daily interaction with suppliers
- Self-motivated, confident and able to motivate suppliers to maintain or improve quality standards.
- Efficient, structured, organized, focused and goal driven.
- Flexible, loyal and passionate for the job and very dedicated.

Technical Skills:
- Advanced level of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must
- Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Skills in 3D design software is a great advantage
- Knowledge of Inventor software would be ideal.
Languages:
- English at advanced level both spoken and written.
- Other languages will be a great asset
