Your responsibilities will be:
- Managing, supervising and coordinating regular closing activities
- Reviewing and approving accounts reconciliations and ad hoc journal entries
- Ensuring that all the KPIs and SLAs are met
- Helping the team, providing them with needed guidance
- Maintaining and managing all the finance and accounting processes within the team while assuring compliance to internal policies and procedures SOX, Segregation of duties, etc.)
- Initiate process improvements within the team
- Coach and manage the whole team
- Provide Accounting guidance and support
- Maintain up to date process documentation
- Directly support internal and external audits
REQUIREMENTS:
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
- Experience in people management (at least 9–10 people)
- At least 3 years of previous work experience in accountancy (general ledger), finance or controlling
- Great command of MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel)
- We operate on SAP – it will be a great advantage if you have experience working in this program
- Fluent English skills
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, stress-resistance
