Project Manager

FirstFarms acquires and operates businesses in the area of agriculture and food products in the EU countries Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. We are 300+ employees. Head office is in Denmark.

FirstFarms develops the individual farms to more modern businesses that deliver the highest quality, primarily to the local food processing companies. FirstFarms supports the development towards more sustainable agriculture, and we work every day on creating a more sustainable company.

Job Description
Investments in renewable energy are a part of our sustainability and circular strategy, as well as it creates new business opportunities for the company. The energy business is therefore in huge upscaling for FirstFarms and we are looking for an experienced project manager, who will be responsible for the development and execution of technical projects across the FirstFarms Group.

The range of the projects, that you will work on, will vary from small-scale projects for own consumption to bigger utility-scale projects. In close collaboration with external partners, you will develop a project design that follows
the company’s goals and complies with authorities’ requirements. The position also includes close collaboration with the internal organisation of FirstFarms’ subsidiaries.

Your Profile
• 3+ years of relevant experience, where you have been working with framework conditions and technical solutions.
• Probably, technical or engineering degree.
• Flexible and collaborative stakeholder management skills.
• Work independently and are self-motivated.
• Proactive, curious about new technologies and solutions, and not afraid to take initiative.
• Very good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Enjoy travel activities with 50-70 travel days per year

Your Responsibilities
• Effective and professional project development and execution on all renewable energy projects (photovoltaic panels, biogas, windmills etc.)
• Preparation of decision proposals for the management and board of directors
• Dialogue and negotiation with potential business partners and authorities
• Coordination and scheduling of all project design activities that will be mainly outsourced
• Development of project documentation in collaboration with external partners

Salary
Salary is negotiable depending on professional qualifications and experience.

Location
Company’s office in Vlasatice, Czech Republic. FirstFarms offers home-office possibilities. Job position entails travel activities.
