ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist you will execute action plans to meet global supply chain strategies: including sourcing strategies and global supplier network capabilities for key commodities and spend categories to achieve broad business objectives. Within this role you will maintain excellent working relationships with strategic business stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and to support the business in achievement of its outcomes. You may provide Supply Chain support for new business offerings, and follow Corporate, Regional and Supply Chain policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow supply chain policies and procedures to ensure financial and strategic goals are attained
- Execute supply chain functions including sourcing, category management, contracting, supplier management, business partnering to support supply chain strategies
- Provide research and analyses to solve problem issues; make recommendations for decisions
- Assistance in the development and completion of contracts and contract negotiations
- Implementation of supply chain strategies
- Collaboration with business stakeholders to achieve savings targets, improve supplier performance, and maximize supplier collaboration to drive the best business outcomes
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- Collect metrics to optimize sourcing, supplier activities and efficiencies
- Work collaboratively with global and regional team members to prioritize and drive implementation.
THE IDEAL PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum one year of related experience (e.g. in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Development, Technology, Finance Processes)
- Fluency in English and other European language (German/ French/ Dutch/ Spanish/ Italian/ Russian/ Scandinavian languages)
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel
- Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures in areas of responsibility OR Experience with vendor selection, sourcing and contracting, supplier management, negotiations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed to interface with internal customers and customer representatives
- Ability to represent Supply Chain with internal customers
- Analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
