THE ROLE:
The Labor Accounting team leader is responsible for performing accurate and timely transactions related to employee’s time entry according to agreed standards. All queries and issues related to the time entry system are handled in a flexible, timely and responsible manner and comply with SOX procedures.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and motivate a team to achieve objectives and performance KPIs.
- Organization and active involvement in governance calls with the stakeholders.
- Acting as point of contact for escalations
- Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities
- Participation in the recruitment process
- Compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley and company Procurement policies
- Participation in audits
- Preparation and maintenance of process documentation.
- Conducting regular performance reviews with the team members
- Participation in transitions
- Preparation of training documentation and tutoring new hires.
- Ensure that the team manages all requests through central request tool to agreed SLA
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Education in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related area
- Previous experience in a similar position within an international Shared Service Center is considered an advantage
- Strong leadership skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong processes orientation, knowledge of process design tools
- Excellent communication skills
- MS Office skills, specifically Excel & Word desirable
- The ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure
- Knowledge of SAP is highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, organizational skills and numerical thinking, problem solving
