Job description
We are looking for a junior BI analyst, willing to become a part of GoodData team and help us with internal projects on the GoodData BI Platform. You will be primarily maintaining and enhancing already implemented projects, but you will need to master and understand the overall architecture of the project to implement the enhancements. There's also an opportunity to participate on the various kind of operational and business analyses.
As a Junior BI analyst you will also daily communicate with US-based colleagues from various departments, including Marketing, Sales and Finance.
Qualification
Are you a self-motivated team player with at least BSc. degree in computer science or business ideally with some relevant previous work experience. Still studying? No problem, this position is suitable also for university students who are able to work at least 20 hours per week.
Ideal candidate
Has some knowledge of SQL and APIs
Has some basic knowledge of the Business Intelligence stack (ETL / DWH / Analytics)
Is great team player
Has logical and analytical thinking, good communication skills
Is fluent in Czech and English, both in written and oral form
Will be able to do the project maintenance work
Has some experience with business analyses
Willing to learn
Preferred is
Experience with design and implementation of ETL processes
Knowledge of Data WareHousing concepts
Previous experience with some Reporting tool (Cognos, Microstrategy, SQL Server)
