Your responsibilities will be:

• Leading Finnish General ledger team
• Responsibility for account reconciliations
• Monitoring of changes in Finnish local accounting legislation
• Local reporting
• Responsibility for the statutory financial statements and for statutory audit process
• Implementation of controls mechanism and proposals for controls over the accounting processes
• Quarterly closing and Yearly closing to the Finish local and IFRS standards
• Perform general ledger entries (accruals, payrolls, prepaid expenses)

Start: ASAP or by agreement

REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

• High school/University degree (preferably Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics)
• Fluent English and Finnish
• Understanding of the Finnish Accounting Act and Ordinance
• Leading experience
• Complex financial accountancy experience within multi-national organization
• Analytical capabilities
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize
