A Team/Operations Manager is a senior role which involves overseeing the Transportation Operations Analysts team. Your main responsibility is to make sure the team is running as well as it possibly can with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers.

Additionally, a separate Web Services division of the company focuses on providing storage and databases to its clients who range from start-up companies to large government enterprises.

Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day activities of Transportation Operations Analyst Team – training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff performance
• Reporting and analyzing data – using advanced computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and data-warehouse analysis
• Developing and understanding performance metrics to assist with driving business result
• Being involved in innovation and implementation of new processes
• Communicating with all involved stakeholders (carriers and internal customers, fulfillment centers, finance, planning, etc.)
• Escalating problems systematically to the relevant owners and teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in management role is a MUST – strong inter-personal and relationship-building skills
• Working experience in operations/supply chain/logistics/e-commerce is an advantage
• Fluent in English and another European language
• Proficiency in Excel – ability to prepare, report and interpret large sets of data
• Strong problem solving state of mind – have proactive attitude so that you don´t get lost within everything that´s going on around you
• Responsibility for own work, self-motivation, flexibility and enthusiasm
