A Team/Operations Manager is a senior role which involves overseeing the Transportation Operations Analysts team. Your main responsibility is to make sure the team is running as well as it possibly can with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers.

A leader in the online retail shopping industry, this company has become highly globalized and international from its original foundations. This company provides consumer products and subscriptions to its customers via its online website. Additionally, a separate Web Services division of the company focuses on providing storage and databases to its clients who range from start-up companies to large government enterprises.
Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day activities of Transportation Operations Analyst Team – training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff performance
- Reporting and analyzing data – using advanced computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and data-warehouse analysis
- Developing and understanding performance metrics to assist with driving business result
- Being involved in innovation and implementation of new processes
- Communicating with all involved stakeholders (carriers and internal customers, fulfillment centers, finance, planning, etc.)
- Escalating problems systematically to the relevant owners and teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in management role is a MUST – strong inter-personal and relationship-building skills
- Working experience in operations/supply chain/logistics/e-commerce is an advantage
- Fluent in English and another European language
- Proficiency in Excel – ability to prepare, report and interpret large sets of data
- Strong problem solving state of mind – have proactive attitude so that you don´t get lost within everything that´s going on around you
- Responsibility for own work, self-motivation, flexibility and enthusiasm
