what you will do:

• Coordinating and executing general ledger activities for client’s Italian operations (GD/IR Italy).
• Ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly closing activities, including general ledger journal entries.
• Guaranteeing the accurate reporting of assigned Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts through the reporting tool.
• Reconciliation of selected general ledger accounts and cost centers.
• Oversight of business expense reports.
• Collaboration on budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and tax preparation.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, control procedures, and SOX requirements.
• Close collaboration with local controllers and various internal departments.
• Preparation of necessary documentation and cooperation with internal/external auditors.

who we are looking for

• English and Italian at B2 level or higher
• Experience in accounting
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or other) is an advantage.
• Advanced PC literacy, particularly in MS Office.
