Start date: 5/15 - 6/16/2016 End date:  9/7 - 9/30/2016   Food Service Associate - 2 students Hosts - $7.00 + tips per hour. As a restaurant host or hostess, participants will be greeting guests arriving at the restaurant, welcoming and seating them. The responsibilities of the host include monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, estimating wait times for guests, monitoring the guest waiting list, and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting. Servers - $5.00 + tips per hour. As a server, participants will be taking customers’ orders, serving food and beverages, preparing itemized checks, and sometimes accepting payment. Servers also need to be familiar with the menu, with how the food is prepared, what it tastes like and if special requests are allowed. Bartender / Barbacks - $5.00 + tips per hour. Must be 21 years of age. While working in this capacity, participants will be serving and making beverages for customers as well as maintaining supplies and taking inventory for the bar. Busser - $7.00 + tips per hour. A busser's job duties include clearing tables, taking dirty dishes to the dishwasher, setting empty tables and otherwise assisting the waiting staff. Responsibilities may also include bringing water and introductory foods to the table when guests first sit down. Food Runners / Pizza Delivery - $10 per hour. The food runners efficiently move food from the kitchen to the dining rooms, assist in food preparation and production. Efficiently and promptly deliver hot and cold food items to the on property to onsite restaurants and community homes.   * All participants must be willing to clean with various chemicals, take out trash and may also be required to clean restrooms. Must also be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time. * All are tipped positions average $10 - 12 per hour. Uniform - Front of the House: Employer will provide uniform at no cost to participant. Please bring khaki shorts or pants and black non-slip shoes.   Food Prep - 2 students Cook - $10.00 per hour. As a cook, participants will be responsible for much of the food production in the kitchen to prepare menu items. Job duties include assisting in all aspects of food preparation, as well as, keeping the kitchen clean and operational. Participants in this position must possess basic cooking skills and will be operating a variety of food service equipment, including knives, pots and pans, ovens and grills and food processors. Prep Cook - $10.00 per hour. As a prep cook, participants will be assisting cooks in preparing food and dishes that need to be served. Employees will also be washing dishes either using a dishwasher to clean plate and glassware or cleaning pots and pans by hand. Additionally, participants will be responsible for maintaining a clean workstation, assisting kitchen staff when required and assisting in overall kitchen cleanliness. Dishwasher - $10.00 per hour. A dishwasher's primary duties include scraping, racking and stacking glassware/plate ware/silverware properly in the dishwasher and washing pots, dishes, etc. by using hand or dish equipment. Dishwashers then restock all ware when clean. Additional duties include removing garbage and recyclable materials from the kitchen area to appropriate receptacles as well as sweeping and mopping. Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining a clean workstation, assisting kitchen staff when required and assisting in overall kitchen cleanliness. * Participants must be willing to clean with various chemicals, take out trash and may also be required to clean restrooms. Must also be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time. Work environment may be hot and damp. Uniform: Back of the House: Employer will provide uniform at no cost to participant. Please bring black pants and black non-slip shoes.   Gas Dock Attendant - 2 students The Gas Dock Attendant would assist customers with purchases and provide immediate assistance with docking and securing of customer boats arriving. Responsibilities also include processing accurate register transactions, restocking and maintenance of store inventory while keeping displays neat and organized, and performing regular general clean as needed. Customers may also request assistance with delivery of their purchases. Participants must have great customer service skills. * Must be willing stand for most of the shift and work outdoors in the hot sun. Participants will be using cleaning chemicals and be exposed to the smell of fuel. Wage: 9.00 + tips/per hour Uniform: Employer will provide uniform at no cost to participant. Please bring khaki shorts or pants and sneakers   Pool Attendants - 4 students Pool Attendants for Club House and Membership Pools - $9.00 per hour. The pool attendant must register guests and provide access to the pool. Pool attendants will monitor guests and ensure that they are safe. This individual will prepare the pool for the day by setting up chairs and lounge furniture. They will also be responsible to supervise access of towels and cleanliness of towels for guests. Pool areas, walkways, and equipment are to be kept clean, serviced, and safe. Individual will also clean dressing rooms and restrooms, perform custodial duties such as picking up the trash and debris from the pool. Management Level Pool Attendants for Club House and Membership Pools - $11.00 per hour. These positions are reserved for those candidates who are responsible and have previous experience in a similar capacity. Must be willing to pitch in with all duties outlined above as well. * Life guard certification is not required. Participants may be asked to take a CPR class that will be paid for by the employer. All participants must minimally know how to swim. Participants must be able to work in hot weather and be exposed to the sun. Uniform: Employer will provide uniform at no cost to participant. Please bring khaki shorts or pants and sneakers.   Info below is for all positions: Special instructions or hiring restrictions by the company: Neat, clean and presentable for work environment. Hair must be clean and styled. Personal cleanliness is very important. Maintain good hygiene, preventing unpleasant breath and body odor. Clothing should be clean, pressed and properly fitted. Tattoos must be covered and no excessive piercings or hair color. Participants are Ambassadors of their home country and should make every effort to represent their country well. Flexibility with schedule required. Friends may not be able to work the same shifts or have the same days off. Second jobs are permitted only if participants maintain their schedule requirements. Employer reserves the right to change a participant’s position if they are not performing to standards. Job benefits: Employer provides free housing, transportation and an experience of a lifetime!. Housing: Employer will provide housing on site in the form of an RV, a motorized or towable vehicle that combines transportation and temporary living quarters for travel, recreation and camping. Participants will be sharing accommodations, approximately 2 per bedroom. Facilities include living and dining area, full kitchens and bathroom. Utilities and cable will be included. Arrival info: Arrival to (city, airport) - Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE), Preferred Arrival Time - Morning. Employer will make arrangements to pick up participants from the airport. Please provide employer with advance notice of arrival plans, as soon as travel arrangements are secured.
