Location: Prague city center office (with a planned headcount of up to 15 professionals)
Company: US manufacturing firm headquartered in Czech Republic established in 2008
Project: Migration of financial processes from the US and Switzerland to Prague – Training and knowledge transfer in the US and/or Switzerland
As an Accounts Payable Specialist you will
- Reconcile and verify the entries and compare system reports to balances
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers
- Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities (verifying data, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, credit or payment discrepancies)
- Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports
- Maintain accounting ledgers posting account transactions
- Reconcile monthly statements of vendor accounts
- Disburse petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation
- Report sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices
- Maintain historical records by filing and organizing documents
REQUIREMENTS:
You have a great profile if:
- Degree in Accounting or related field required
- Fluent English language
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- 3+ years of general accounting or accounts payable experience and travel expenses
- Advanced Excel
It will be advantage if you have
- Experience in SAP or Concur preferred
