ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Junior Banking Specialist you will be part of a Prague team that plays a key role in the securities lifecycle. The team is responsible for an accurate and timely setup into the company database of securities traded on domestic markets. The securities are accepted based on data provided by various market participants and are checked against company eligibility requirements prior to opening in the company database.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creation and acceptance of common codes for all eligible instruments on domestic markets
- Monitoring inboxes and close cooperation with operational centres in Prague, Singapore, Luxembourg, Frankfurt and London
- Analysing the terms & conditions of each issue
- Liaising with depositories and various agents in different countries all over the world and with internal units across different locations
- Chasing of missing information from market participants
- Set-up of codes over the phone
- Handling of incomplete and rejected instructions and of SAP cases
- Answering of all internal/ external customer queries
- Investigations/ queries related to Back valuation process and reconciliation
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree is plus but not absolutely mandatory
- Good analytical skills
- Experience within administrative position is considered as an asset
- Needs to have an eye for details
- Communication skills: both oral and written
- Strong team player in a multicultural environment
- Very good written and spoken English
