Medior Data Engineer (Python & Snowflake) | Remote

Our client is looking for a Medior Data Engineer to join an international team working on modern data platforms and analytical solutions. In this role, you'll combine software engineering, data processing, and analytics to develop applications, build robust data pipelines, and support data-driven decision-making across global teams.

Popis pozice:

• Develop Python applications and tools for data processing, analysis, modelling, and forecasting
• Design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end data pipelines
• Develop web-based applications using Streamlit for data visualization and reporting
• Build and optimize Python and Snowflake-based data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data
• Work with large datasets while ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with international technical and business teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions
• Apply statistical, mathematical, and algorithmic approaches to solve business problems
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices and development standards

Profil kandidáta:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of commercial experience in Data Engineering, Python Development, or a similar technical role
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Solid SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
• Experience with Snowflake or similar SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server)
• Experience designing and developing data pipelines and data processing solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international environment

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience developing algorithms for data quality validation and outlier detection
• Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts
• Experience working with Generative AI tools such as Claude
