As a Python Software Engineer at Podproza, you'll play a crucial role in advancing our blockchain projects and driving data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with a cross-functional and international team to build scalable systems for detecting, preventing, and mitigating cryptocurrency fraud and financial crime. This position is based in Prague, preferably, or remotely from anywhere in Europe.
What You'll Do:

Software Development: Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Python code for various blockchain-related applications. Ensure the code is optimized, well-documented, and suitable for production environments.

System Integration: Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers to integrate data analysis algorithms into scalable software systems.

Automation and Optimization: Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline processes, improve system efficiency, and enhance the overall performance of our applications.

Problem-Solving: Utilize your problem-solving skills to debug and resolve software issues, ensuring the reliability and security of our systems.

Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, implement rigorous testing, and maintain high standards of code quality to ensure robust and reliable software.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Python programming and blockchain technology. Apply this knowledge to refine your development techniques and contribute to the evolution of our software solutions. Your Qualifications:
Required:
•
Experience: 2–10 years of experience in Python software development.
•
Python Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of its libraries and frameworks.
•
Software Development Skills: Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy software applications.
•
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex software issues.
•
Autonomy: Capable of working independently and delivering reliable results.
•
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in clear, concise English (Czech language not required, but Prague-based candidates are preferred).
Preferred:

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
•
