In order to provide medical care to our patients effectively, we need staff to manage the technical side of projects – including the provision of clean water as well as sanitation facilities – so that our doctors have everything they need to do their job. WE ARE LOOKING FOR experienced professionals with a background in water treatment and sanitation.
WATER AND SANITATION specialists are responsible for the water supply as clean water is a basic need for populations and the provision of health care. They ensure the separation of sewage from drinking water, the construction of latrines, and implementing an appropriate waste disposal system. They must also participate in hiring local staff and are responsible for the guidance and supervision of these employees.
POŽADAVKY:
- Completed education in the field of water treatment/sanitation
- At least 2 years of work experience in a relevant field
- Improvisational skills
- Very good knowledge of English essential, other languages (in particular French) are a major advantage
- Willing to work in potentially unstable environments and adhere to security rules
- Available to leave for a mission of 9 to 12 months
