An opportunity to participate in building and consolidating a small Finance Service Delivery focusing on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash and Expenses transactions.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role for the right candidate who can demonstrate a combination of accounting and controlling technical excellence, analytical skillset and a pro-active attitude.

Your Responsibilities as a Project Accounting Accountant:

• Perform monthly project KPIs reporting, analyse variances and update forecasts
• Determine revenue to be recognised
• Analyse cash flow and support Reporting Accountants with accounting evidence
• Calculate FX gains and losses and analyses the impact on financial reporting
• Ensure that new projects are set up in SAP with correct income, billing and budgeted cost information
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Forecast projects’ accruals and prepayments
• Cooperate closely with Senior GL and Reporting Accountants
• Support both internal and external audits.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must Have:

• Minimum 2 year experience in complex accounting, financial controlling or financial audit
• Fluent English
• Understanding of IFRS

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in SAP
• Fluency in German or Italian
• Fully or partly qualified in accounting (ACCA, ACA, KCÚ)
