We are looking for a Manager who will be responsible for accounting team!
As an Accounting Manager
- Resolves complex accounting issues and assists Sr. Finance Director
- Reviews documentation of accounting and finance procedures
- Ensures timely completion of monthly check lists owned by accountants
- Approves journals, ensuring consistency and completeness of all postings with correct coding, classification and aligned with US GAAP and local accounting standards
- Acts as key contact for queries concerning accounting
- Perform variance analyses for movements on all accounts
- Maintain adherence to local statutory reporting rules, tax requirements
- Communication with external and internal auditors
- Performs system security approvals and payment authorizations
- Establish and retain internal controls and fulfill SOX requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
You are a great candidate if you have:
- University degree Finance, Economy or Accounting
- 8+ years of Finance and Accounting experience with at least 3 years of accounting and tax experience within EMEA countries
- Controllership experience, inclusive of statutory accounts and corporate tax involvement
- Fluent English is a must
- Excelllent communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Flexibility
- Energetic person with positive attitude
- Team player
It will be a plus if you have:
- Knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion
- Knowledge of other EU language
- ACCA
