We are seeking for suitable candidate for position of Senior Accountant for an international company with offices in Prague. Main responsibilities:

• Training and coaching team members, supporting team leaders and controller
• Preparation of month-end journals, maintenance of General Ledger records in timely and accurate manner
• Completion of monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• Preparation of intercompany invoices, documents for auditors
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Carry out and review internal and external reporting
• Execution of government reports, tax reporting and ad hoc financial information requests
• Compliance to internal controls in accordance with the company's processes

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum high school degree, university degree is an advantage
• Experience in accounting / tax or audit (at least 3 years) within multinational company
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and financial statements is a must
• Proficient in written and spoken English, fluent in German language
• Advanced level of Microsoft Excel
• Proven experience with preparation of statutory financial statements and direct/indirect taxes
• Ability to work independently
