Scope of employment:
Encompassing Development & Design this role is involved in practically developing and implementing solutions that meet the needs of the customers. This includes the analysis of systems according to requirements, and the design and building of solutions that may be in house, off-the-shelf or through third-parties. Contributing to the provision of any Quality Assurance, Configuration, Testing, Training or Documentation services which is required to successfully integrate and implement the final solution.

Key responsibilities:
Designs systems and methods in the assigned IT field, including:
Analyzing existing organizational processes and / or systems; defining target scenarios (including business process analysis, systems analysis, process modeling, proof of concept, prototyping) ; and evaluating and selecting standard software.
Conducting meeting/interviews with customers to establish their requirements. Presenting concepts and proposals, and providing updates on deliverables; negotiating issue resolution when needed.
Acting as a coordinator across projects to prevent delays or misunderstandings e.g., definition of interfaces or SOA services.
Manage the performance and effectiveness of 3rd party vendors in the delivery of quality application software.
Applies standard methodologies when creating new programs and applications (developing and coding from specifications) or when maintaining existing ones.
Acts as technical lead of development teams on issues of performance, tools, and standards; steering the development process, reviews, and knowledge sharing, managing progress on tasks, and auditing results and outcomes.

Requirements:
5 –8 years (With BS/BA) or 3–5 years (with MS/MA) experience in software engineering and methods including formal methods (e.g. Prince 2).
An experienced professional contributor with responsible for an advanced area of work in the professional field.
Experience in Business Intelligence.
Data migration.
IBM Data Stage, Informatica or other ETL.
Teradata DWH.
Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy or other BI tools.
