The Fortuna Entertainment Group was established in 2009 and it is the largest Central European betting operator. Originally a Czech firm (established 1990), it has grown into a holding company over time, and it now also operates on the Slovak, Polish, Romanian and Croatian markets. With its own R&D center in Prague and several other departments forming international HQ in Florentinum with over 400 employees and with over 6000 in CEE.
We’re now looking for an extra colleague to join our DevOps&Tools team that plays a key part in building and enhancing our future and container-based infrastructure. He/ she will work closely together with engineers from other teams and help them to successfully run their code on the platform we provide.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code, always in accordance with the planned architecture
- Implement Continuous Delivery solutions and help automate various stages of the deployment and testing processes
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions for various technology stacks or container orchestration platforms
- Perform Container Management and Orchestration
- Work with the rest of our software development team to ship code and maintain infrastructure
- Build, deploy, monitor and troubleshoot as needed
- Advise Developers on schema changes and optimize performance
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python/ Groovy/ Java etc.)
- Virtualization and in-depth Linux knowledge
- Experience in tools such as Maven/Gradle/NPMs, Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Infrastructure Provisioning experience and Continuous Delivery experience using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Spacewalk
- Experience in service containerization (i.e. Docker)
- Availability for a rotating on-call schedule
- communicative knowledge of Czech (or Slovak) language
- Good (at least intermediate) knowledge of English
Nice to have:
- Experience in Scrum or Agile Methodology
- Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes
