Popis pozice:

As a Network specialist you will be:

• Administer mission-critical infrastructure
• Install network components including routers, circuits, switches and wireless
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
• Provides technology support to team members of the Help Desk team
• Finding and fixing issues within systems; and implementing, monitoring, and building tools that automate repetitive tasks to minimize errors and prevent downtime
• Troubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes recommendations for improvement
• Provides IT solutions such as capacity studies, installation, performance tuning and expert time when requested
• Provides network engineering support to Enterprise Storage Systems and network switching solutions as required
• Monitor network traffic for unauthorized connections and network attach signatures utilizing
• Provides day to day operational functions to the firewalls
• Provides support in the troubleshooting of networks that support VoIP and management of PBX systems, and perform Wireless LAN surveys and troubleshooting of Wireless LAN networks

Profil kandidáta:

As an ideal candidate you should have:

• Education in Engineering, Networking, or Cyber Security
• Knowledge of network engineering and security, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and VPN
• Understands fundamentals related to LAN/WAN computer environments and concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, cabling and wireless
• Must be able to work in a multivendor network
• Working knowledge of IP subnetting, IP routing and troubleshooting IP-related issues
• Experience with HP routing and switching products, Palo Alto product, VoIP troubleshooting, Wireless LAN, 
• Knowledge of network security, infrastructure protection and support.
• Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities at once
• Proficiency in English
