Offered position:
Data Services Engineer
You will be working in a virtual group of MS Server Specialists (Data Services Enginees) and provide support for servers and server functionalities in the region.
Main responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration of Windows server OS (2008 and 2012) and remote administration in the region
- Installation and configuration of services – DNS, DHCP, Active directory, DFS, IIS
- Installation and configuration of VMware OS
- Providing troubleshooting of OS issues
- Patching and updating server infrastructure, backup
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation of the server infrastructure
- Preparing and evaluating technical design for new projects and improvements
- Capacity planning for the server infrastructure
- Position includes implementation of Quality standards, processes, auding of the server infrastructure
REQUIREMENTS:
- English is esential
- Technical education in IT is prefered (Computer Science or equivalent experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of Windows server operating systems (2008 and 2012)
- Understanding of virtualization on VMware and HyperV
- Active directory, DNS services, DHCP services
- Understanding TCP/IP
- Ability to solve technical problems, to work in international, cross cultural team and environment
Knowledge of some of following technologies:
- Microsoft System Center Suite (WSUS, SCCM, SCOM, SCO), Database Management (SQL), Backup and Recovery service, Web filtering service, replication service (DFS), web service, authentication and certification service, scripting (Powershell)
