Senior VAT Analyst
Main responsibilities:
- Lead local and regional tax projects
- Regular VAT reviews in EU subsidiaries and follow up on projects
- Develop, maintain and update standard VAT reporting files, procedures and manuals
- Analysis of SAP reports and other systems relevant for VAT and Intrastat automation in order to implement error free and user friendly solutions and simplifications
- Legislation monitoring
- VAT compliance reporting and VAT risk management performance for all VAT registrations
- Maintenance of VAT GL accounts including review of CBS work on revaluation, reconciliation and clearing of problematic items, communication with appropriate people regarding corrections, reviewing of monthly closing reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree
- At least 5 years of professional experience in tax / VAT compliance process and financial data analysis required
- Advanced knowledge of Czech VAT law and tax administration rules
- Big 4 consulting companies’ background preferred
- Fluent English
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP
