Your responsibilities will be:

• Monitoring of changes in Finnish local accounting legislation
• Responsibility for local reporting and statistics
• Responsibility for the statutory financial statements
• Support and cooperation on accounts reconciliations
• Responsible for updating the local accounting processes, guidelines and procedures
• Description and implementation of controls mechanism and proposals for controls over accounting processes

Start: ASAP or by agreement

REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

• High school/University degree (preferably Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics)
• Fluent English and Finnish
• Understanding of the Finnish Accounting Act and Ordinance
• Leading experience
• Complex financial accountancy experience within multi-national organization
• Analytical capabilities
• Ability to communicate internationally
• Ability to prioritize
