Accounting manager with dutch

Our client is part of a renowned global company in the beer, spirits, soft drinks, and food sectors. They operate 19 production facilities across 8 European countries, managing some of the world’s most esteemed beer brands, including Pilsner Urquell and Kozel. They are currently looking for someone to join their team and be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial reporting and accounting activities.

Can you speak fluent English and Dutch? Do you have experience with finance accounting? If so, this opportunity may be perfect for you!

key responsibilities:

• lead GL and Reporting teams
• manage workload, task allocation, and evaluations for team members
• ensure timely and accurate financial reports
• review financial data for trends and discrepancies
• oversee month-end/year-end closing and statements
• monitor internal controls for regulatory compliance
• collaborate with auditors and address queries
• develop financial reports and analyses
• conduct financial analysis and communicate trends
• identify and implement GL process improvements
• ensure effective communication between departments
• support budgeting and forecasting with data
• analyze budget variances and adjust plans
• provide financial insights for strategic planning

who we are looking for

• fluency in english and dutch
• university degree in finance
• at least 10 years in financial accounting
• at least 10 years in shared financial services
• previous experience working in the dutch market is an advantage
