Data Scientist/Machine Learning Developer (Hybrid) - Renewable Energy

About the company: Our client is a leading player in the Electrical Power Engineering sector, specializing in automated energy management and battery storage systems. 

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist with development capabilities to join the technology team. In this role, you will contribute to enhancing prediction models for site electricity consumption and photovoltaic (PV) or wind turbine generation. Your responsibilities include managing, refining, and developing machine learning models, conducting data analysis, and setting up Machine Learning Operations (MLOps). 

We are looking for an individual who specializes primarily in the field of Data Science but with a comprehensive understanding of the entire process, from data preparation to model design and proof of concept testing.

• Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models
• Conduct data preprocessing and feature engineering
• Manage vendors, tasks, and project timelines
• Create and present reports for management and clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Profil kandidáta:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in data science, statistics, or computer science
• Proficiency in Python, RestAPI (FastAPI) - must-have
• Familiarity with machine learning tools (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and time series data (Influx, AWS Timestream)
• Excellent communication skills
• Vendor management and MLops experience (Advantage)
