Python Developer with DevOps - Renewable Energy Sector

Provider of automated carbon reduction and electricity cost-saving technology for small and medium-sized enterprises. Headquartered in the UK and Czech Republic, the company currently operates sites in the UK, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and Poland. 

Popis pozice:

We are looking for talented Python backend developers with basic knowledge of DevOps.

You will be developing backend systems for new and existing, both cloud and edge-controlled applications. You will also be partially responsible and mainly as a backup for setting automation for build and deployment pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure. The team manages infrastructure as a code, Linux is the primary focus and all solutions are containerized.

Profil kandidáta:

Required:

• Python with OOP
• Experience building REST API (FastAPI) and integration solution
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Docker and application containerization
• Unit testing
• GitLab, including pipelines
• AWS
• Terraform
• Git

Advantage:

• AWS products - DynamoDB, Timestream, IoT GreenGrass, IoT Core
• Redis
• SQLAlchemy, Boto3
• InfluxDB, PostgreSQL
• Bash
• Ansible
• Experience with monitoring, auto recovery, scalability

Ideally, you would be able to achieve the following:

• Understand and complete tasks on time and brief
• Track down and fix bugs in your own and other people’s code
• Drive a simpler project (or a part of a major project) forward unaided when given clear requirements
• Be familiar with agile software development methodologies
• Be able to work independently
