A prestigious international company in Prague is looking for Supervisor GL role to work in their great team! Do you have an experience with accounting? Do you want to be a part of a start up company and support people in your team? So you have the opportunity right now!!
Key tasks:
- Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives
- Handle various general ledger processes, including certain reconciliations, journal entries, and analysis that may be required on a monthly basis
- Directly involved in ensuring sound general accounting practices are followed throughout and within all the various departments of the company and actively engaged in the internal auditing needs of the company
- Manage and review month end closing, reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure accurate financial liability recording for the company
- Performing research and analysis necessary to support the job function
- Improve processes, enhance service levels within the organization, and develop the skill set of the employees
- Overall create a positive work environment for your team

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business with strong accounting emphasis
- Managing the GL team (leading, motivating, support of GL team)
- Prior management experience required (relevant experience in GL area preferred; at least 1 year of previous people management/supervisory experience highly preferred)
- Ability to develop strong relationships with diverse groups
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Monitor team performance, controlling team members' KPIs, evaluating staff results
- Proficient knowledge of English language
- Ability to coach and motivate team
- Ability to apply a broad knowledge of accounting principles to a variety of accounting activities ranging from daily transactions to detailed analyses
- Proficiency in the use Microsoft office programs
- Knowledge of Czech accounting standards a must
- Ability to communicate well with internal and external parties
