Customs Coordinator

We are a global manufacturer of parts for braking systems based in Čejč, the Czech Republic, and we partner with important employers representing a long-standing tradition in the South Moravian Region.

We are involved in the development of state-of-the-art braking systems, manufacturing and supplying brake pins for a quarter of the cars produced worldwide. We are a member of LISI group, a large multinational with its parent company in France.

Due to the continuous expansion of our production, we are looking for an experienced colleague for the position of Customs Coordinator.

This position will be part of the newly built Customer Service team in Čejč, reporting to our French Headquarters.

What will your responsibilities be?

Customs data

• Complete the preferential and non-preferential declarations of origin requested by customers based on the data entered in Movex, then return them to customers and archive them

Customs clearance declaration

• Enter and validate the declaration in the customs software
• Carry out posteriori checks, according to the defined rules, and implement an appropriate action plan in the event of non-compliance
• Search for alternative export evidence when necessary
• Prepare and present the quarterly analysis of non-conformities identified upon import to the Customs Pole Leader
• ATVAI / IM verification for accounting declaration

What do you need for this role?

• General knowledge of customs
• General skills in clerical tasks
• Customs declarant experience
• Fluent English spoken and written, French or German is an asset
• ERP (SAP, MOVEX advantage), MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Internet), knowledge of Customs software is an advantage
• Proactive approach, mindset of continuous improvement, willingness to learn
• Customer focus, result oriented
• Experience in the industry or automotive sector are an advantage
