Our client, a global company focusing on logistics solutions based in Prague is hiring a new member for their team full of professionals with many possibilities of development.
PRINCIPAL ENGINEER Praha
Responsibilities:
- Set up enterprise monitoring framework
- Architecting and planning of implementation
- Delivering of technical and architecture design
- To formulate standards related to IT monitoring landscape
- Provide technical consultancy to support the design and implementation planning of new infrastructure technologies
- Act as a SME and 3rd level support
- Deliver complex Infrastructure Projects Implementations
- Infrastructure Problem Management
- Automation initiatives
Knowledge and experience:
- At least 10 years of overall IT or related field experience
- Min. 5 ears of experience focusing on enterprise Tools and Monitoring
- To be familiar with: Microfocus OML, Splunk, Dynatrace, SCOM, Topaz, IQSonar, Microfocus Sitescope, TeamQuest, IBM Tivoli
- Good knowledge of Operating Systems, System Management, Hardware, Big Data, Automation tools and virtualization technologies
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, collaboration and partnering skills
- Experience with technical writing
- Experience of indirect management
- Advantage: ITIL Foundation Certification, knowledge in Architecture frameworks like TOGAF, scripting languages such as Python, Java, C++
