For our client new R&D centre based in Prague focused on design in rolling stock area we have an opportunity for specialist on position of Design Engineer – electrical installation / wiring.

Your task:

• design harnesses and electrical equipment cases for rolling stock projects, including generation of 3D models, drawings and form boards using SW CATIA V5 / EPLAN / ELCAD
• preparation of wiring reports, Bills of Materials (BOMs) & diagrams for harnesses using appropriate ‘wiring’ tools.
• according wire diagrams design concept of cable trays
• design of installation of switch boards, cameras, sensors, antennas, displays, HVAC, lighting, etc. into vehicle body
• communication with client and act as liaison with other engineering functions to ensure a fully integrated, safe & compliant design
• technical support and solutions to the customers
• participation on handling EMC problematics and project testing and validation of systems

REQUIREMENTS:

• Secondary / University technical education (electrotechnique / electronics)
• ability to read electrical schematics
• proven track in electro design area – electrical installation / wiring & harnesses / cable trays / connectors, etc.
• experience in design for aerospace / rail & rolling stock / automotive area is an advantage
• knowledge of SW EPLAN or ELCAD or CATIA or AutoCAD
• communicative knowledge of English or German language
• project coordination experience is welcomed
