McDonald's Czech Republic is looking for a new colleague for the position of BUSINESS INSIGHTS ANALYST in the marketing department. The purpose of the position is to comprehensively analyze internal restaurant and product data using advanced analytical methods with the use of modern tools in order to support decision making of relevant departments and planning of marketing and business strategies.
**Role**
- Lead Business analytics and Data across the company including automation of reporting and promotion of data-driven approach.
- Lead market Data championship for any data related activities including market data quality, onboarding data related initiatives.
- Own pre- and post- evaluations for all marketing activities to recommend actions for further implications including Product promotions, Delivery and Drive (McDonald‘s sales channels) promos, McDonald’s Mobile Application Deals (example of key metric: impact on transaction value, profit)
- Propose selling plan and projection by McDonald’s sales channels, growth business drivers.
- Act as data-driven Business Insights professional to provide relevant support with Business Insights recommendations and inputs.
**Day-to-day tasks**
- Calculation of business cases and providing inputs into marketing campaigns planning and evaluation (pre-evaluation).
- Regular promo campaigns performance tracking and providing the summary of promo campaigns / motivational programs (post-evaluation, actuals vs plan).
- Providing the inputs to new products sales planning.
- Providing the inputs to new McDonald’s Mobile Application Deals planning and then to evaluation of their performance.
- Development and update of management reporting on business performance. Analyzing sales Data and interpreting results using statistical methods.
- Ensuring Data quality in the global database and in reports.
- Supporting Product hierarchy in the global database.
- Provision of processing of "raw" data for further use in reports.
- Management of Users access to reports, dashboards, trainings on data analytics and usage.
- Preparing ad-hoc requests regards Business Insights across all functions on the company and cooperate with Marketing, Operation, Franchising and Finance.
**Requirements**
- Experience in Business Insights.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, power queries (+ VBA macro not required but preferable).
- Knowledge of Tableau (preferable).
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with Python (not required but preferable).
- Knowledge of statistics an advantage.
- English language at B2 level.
