As a Retail Software Tester you would be responsible for testing of point of sale (POS) retail systems of the Fortuna Entertainment Group. You should be able to fill the role of one of the main Testers in an Agile team developing solutions for Fortuna retail branches in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania and Croatia. We are looking for someone who has passion for the exciting world of sports or even sports betting and online gaming and who can thrive in a dynamic environment with frequent changes.
- Participate in a software development cycle in an Agile environment and run various types of tests on the desktop retail section of Fortuna’s projects.
- Regularly communicate with Product Owners and prepare functional and non-functional test cases based on their needs.
- Creatively try to break our app before our customers do.
- Drive process, technical and operational improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ year(s) of experience in software testing
- Basic knowledge of defect/ incident management tools and processes
- Advanced English and Czech (or Slovak) as well as English – both written and spoken
NICE-to-have knowledge of/ experience in:
- experience in point of sale retail systems or similar desktop applications
- Sports betting and/ or online casino (online gaming)
- SQL and databases
- Agile SW development methodologies (ideally Scrum)
- API testing (SOAP or REST services)
