A company operating in medical technologies is looking for candidates for a position of SENIOR GL ACCOUNTANT.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in month end closing activities
• Maintaining General Ledger records for assigned accounts
• Preparation monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
• Cooperation with other departments on global level
• Support of internal and external audits
• Ensuring accuracy of all entries and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP and SOX requirements
• Participation in planning, forecasting and reporting

Start: ASAP
Contract: Employment agreement for 6 months
Location: Prague 9

REQUIREMENTS:

• Min. bachelor degree education, economic field is an advantage
• Relevant experience from General Ledger position
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
• Very good command of MS Office, especially Excel
• Previous work with GAAP reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of JDE or Hyperion is an advantage
