Sales Applications Manager
Popis pozice:
- The position delivers timely and accurate forecasting of upcoming opportunities delivers results through the successful closing of new contracts
- Accurate monthly forecasting of LTSA activity is completed which feeds the Customer Service Sales and Operation process
- Reports to the Manager Sales and Business Development and is a recognized technical and commercial consultant to Customers, New Equipment Sales, Aftermarket Sales and Sales Management
- Primary challenges include developing solutions for complex technical and commercial long term customer requirements, while demonstrating the value of the solution to the customer working to mitigate company risk
- The position functions in multicultural environments, collaborating with other professionals to prepare technical and commercial proposals and to negotiate contract details as well as responding to unique project conditions / demands
- Supports the overal LTSA Booking Plan and has responsibility for all bookings in his or her respective region.
- Develops solutions to complex long term service alternatives to meet customer needs in a wide range of applications and all market segments.
Profil kandidáta:
- Requires a minimum of a degree in engineering or equivalent, and at least 3 years experience in related activities in customer services and particularly in LTSA Sales Applications Engineering or LTSA Operations with an overall experience of 7 years or more with a bachelor's degree
- Must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of turbomachinery principles and theory, mechanical and electrical engineering and turbomachinery applications, with an emphasis on system solutions for the customer
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of both Oil and Gas and Power Generation markets and turbomachinery applications within those markets
- Languages: English mandatory and French would be nice to have
- Excellent customer-facing skills are required with the ability to lead customer meetings with or without support from other team members.
- Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel is required to be proficient in this position
- Periodic travel is required within the assigned region, along with customer visits to Solar’s manufacturing and service facilities.
