Junior Finance Controller

Popis pozice:

• Support local entities meeting Reporting requirements and deadlines
• Assist with Budget, Quarterly Forecasts and Closing activities
• Preparation of management reports, finanacial and variance analyses, focusing on production and inventory
• Establish and enforce rigorous financial controls of production and inventory processing
• Prepare analysis and forecasting to assist in decision making process
• Review price deviations and results from purchases
• Compile budgetary calculations, implement operatively changes and new procedures, both for preliminary and final versions
• Follow up and resolve anomalies identified through the variance analysis 
• Ensure all SAP modules are fully utilized and properly leveraged to give adequate controls and safeguards to plant inventories
• Responsibility for ensuring the preparation and presentation to senior management of different financial statements
• Account for and report excess and obsolete inventories in cooperation with logistics to assure inclusion in the financial results of the company
• Reviewing and closing production orders
• Coordinate plant financial closing process for production and inventories
• Assist external auditors for Statutory and US GAAP audits
• Reporting for external entities e.g. statistical office
• Business Warehouse data exports
• Support for commenting on results
• Independent execution of periodic and ad-hoc evaluations
• Collaboration in various controlling projects
• Cooperation on the annual physical inventory process and monthly cycle count programs with local supply chain teams

Profil kandidáta:

• • Very good analytical and problem solving skills, detail orientation
  • Develops collaborative working relationships across functions
  • Communicates credibly and continuously across all levels
  • Understanding and knowledge essential of Statutory and US GAAP accounting and tax standards
  • Competent language skills in Czech and English – both written and verbal
  • At least 2 years experience, preferably in cost accounting
  • Strong Excel skills
  • ERP experience, preferably in SAP

  • University degree or an equivalent education in Business Administration or Economics or similar
