Financial controller
Your responsibilities:
- Coordinate the budget process and provide monthly/quarterly forecast of plant expense and production to resident business units.
- Manage monthly plant closing together with accounting manager.
- Provide management with timely and relevant analysis of results and variances to budget/forecast.
- Proactively support local management to strengthen financial performances, identifying key areas of potential improvement and optimization.
- Responsible for the integrity of product costing and conducting the annual standard cost roll up including labor cost calculation, material cost review and burden cost calculation.
- Review and approve all capital job orders related to plant. Maintain systems for monitoring and reporting capital expenditures. Ensure economic thinking is employed in the analysis of capital projects.
- Working together with account manager to coordinate all internal and external financial audits.
- Responsible for integrity of the inventories and assets of the plant – conduct periodic/annual audits and audit annual stock take.
- Perform periodically requested special financial analyses as required by corporate or plant management.
Your profil:
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA/MS/CMA/CPA is desirable with emphasis on continuing education in all areas of accounting and finance.
- 3 – 10 years’ progressive experience working in a financial business environment, including the areas of financial analysis, cost and inventory accounting along with at least 5 years of plant/manufacturing experience.
- Solid product costing and general ledger systems experience.
- Solid spreadsheet, management and accounting information systems and data base PC skills, including experience with an ERP system and advanced Excel skills.
- Understand internal control concepts and GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence decisions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with all levels within the organization.
- Strong analytical, planning and organization skills with the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to travel up to 10%
