Role Summary:

The senior technical trainer is responsible for the development, delivery and maintenance of product's technical training programs provided to staff and customers, including installation, administration and maintenance of lab systems, working with minimal level of supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Educates customers and staff to a predefined standard across the Xura solution portfolio

- Defines the course content and structure for their assigned products and ensures delivery of training material in a timely fashion

- Installs, administers, and maintains product lab systems (Unix based)

- Delivers training course on Xura products/solutions to customers and staff worldwide

- Responsible for the quality of the deliveries including preparation and post course wrap up

- Coaches/Mentors others in areas of expertise

- Provides feedback on products and tooling to other parts of the company

- Works independently with minimal supervision

Profil kandidáta:

Job Requirements:

- Minimum qualifications and experience:

- Minimum of 1 years experience in using relevant networking protocols

- Bachelor / Masters degree within the IT or equivalent

- Demonstrates flexibility and high tolerance to travel

- Previous experience as a teacher or instructor desirable

- Fluency in English both verbal and written

- Other languages are of advantage

- EU citizenship

- Technical knowledge and expertise:

- Experience in administration of Linux / Unix operating systems and services, preferably with formal certification

- Capable of writing scripts (Shell, Perl)

- Experience in TCP/IP and other Networking protocols, preferably formally certified

- Overview of latest communication trends and technologies

- Advanced presentation and communication skills

- Knowledge of mobile networks principles

- Experience of configuring and troubleshooting databases is of advantage
