Working hours: 32/per week, 6 days a week, overtime sometimes, most hours: June, July, August, September, Employer will provide 32 hours per week on average through the duration of the program. Participants may receive fewer hours while they are training and the weather may also dictate employment hours.

Job description:

To assist customers in finding and purchasing the required merchandise in a retail clothing store environment. To encourage customers to purchase products. Greet customers, find out the customer's needs, and assist customers with their requests and purchases. Additional responsibilities may include cashier responsibilities including receive and process cash, check and charge/credit payments. Keep merchandise area clean, stock and price items and all else
assigned.

Uniform: Participants must wear shorts or pants with comfortable shoes. If they have questions about appropriate work attire, they may discuss this with their supervisor.

Requirements:

Participants must take their work commitment seriously. Flexibility with schedule required. Friends may not be able
to work the same shifts or have the same days off. Second jobs are permitted only if students maintain their
schedule requirements. Employer reserves the right to change a participant’s position if they are not performing to
standards. Retail stores (more location) are very close to one another. Participants will be placed at a particular location upon arrival.

Ocean City, sometimes known as OC, or OCMD, is a resort town located on the Atlantic Ocean in Maryland, on the east coast of the United States. take participants to boardwalk, which travels from the Inlet to the North Booth at 27th Street. The tram will stop at most any location along the route. Fare is $3.00 per person or $20 for 8 rides. There are also buses that run 24/7 for $3 a ride including a shuttle to the outlet mall.

There are many things to do in Ocean City! As well as enjoying a day at the beach and the outdoor and water activities included (swimming, sun bathing, surfing, fishing, sailing, volleyball, picnicking), participants can take a stroll and enjoy the buzz along the town’s 3 mile boardwalk. Ocean City also organizes free night movies and concerts on the beach during the summer. Other summer activities include art, craft and cultural fairs and shows, the Ocean City Air Show, dolphin watching and boat trips to Assateague Island. Additionally, participants can discover Maryland's colorful history at the Life-Saving Station Museum or else do some shopping in Ocean City’s outlets, malls, boutiques or antique shops (in nearby Snow Hill and Berlin).
