The Functional Application Administrator is responsible for the functional maintenance of processes within one or more applications to provide the best possible service for the business. The Functional Application Administrator will control, execute and monitor the applications and provide second line support.
primary responsibilities:
Change management :
- Realize standard changes
- Create end-user documentation
Release management:
- Prepare and execute releases for standard changes
Incident management:
Execute second line support for incidents
Application support:
- Monitoring IT data/processes
- Job management
- Create queries/reports
- Archiving
Testing:
- Execute regression testing for new releases
- Maintain test scenarios for regression testing
Authorization management:
- Define, describe and discuss requests with internal control and maintain authorizations
- Create periodic analysis (incl. clean up)
Auditing/controls:
- Collect and assess data for internal or external audits/controls
General:
- Actively participate in improvements in the incident and change management processes
REQUIREMENTS:
- education in Information Technology
- work experience as a Functional Application Administrator or System Admistrator
- good knowledge about processes and applications: Confluence, Cisco Unified communications manager, Mobile application management tools such as Citrix Xen mobile/Mobile Iron
