Employer is open to all start dates; however, the last date of the season is September 5, 2016, therefore this would be the last date of employment for all participants. Participants can all help get the property ready for opening Memorial Day weekend at the end of May. June is a little slower until schools release typically around June 10th, but then the summer is rather busy.
JOB DUTIES:
Lifeguards are responsible for safety of all guests as well as customer service. Basic Job Duties Include: Proper ride dispatch at tops of slides, -Scanning water for guest safety, Basic first-aid calls, Customer service, General cleaning of park, Continuous training throughout summer. Swim Requirements: Swim 200 yards, Retrieve 10 pound brick from 11 feet of water and Tread water without hands for 2 minutes
Food Service Worker - Basic Duties: Cooking of various foods, Food preparation, Stocking of food in stands/cafes, Basic working knowledge of U.S. currency (for employees on registers), Cash handling/financial transactions (for employees on registers), Customer service, Cleaning of stands/cafes
Training for all Food and Beverage employees will be provided through SafeServe. This includes register training, food preparation, and proper food handling. Employees must be able to work for long periods of time on their feet in various weather conditions.
Park Attendant - Basic Job Duties: Cleaning of bathrooms, including toilets, Sweeping of areas, Cleaning picnic tables, Collecting food trays, Changing garbage, Basic landscaping. Park Attendants will be taught how to use any chemicals/cleaners required to do their job. PLEASE NOTE: Participants will need to be prepared to be working outdoors.
Ticket Sales - Cash handling/financial transactions on registers, Cash handling/issuing parking passes, Issuing and processing daily admission and season pass tickets, Scanning Tickets, Checking guests’ bags, Issuing/Returning Wetsuits, Basic assistance with locker/cabana sales. Admissions employees will be working in the following areas of the park: Ticket Booths, Parking Booths, Locker/Cabana Rentals, 4D Theater
Participants working Admissions positions must have a high level of English and have an understanding of US currency as they will be on registers on a daily basis. Participants must be able to provide high levels of customer service as they will be the first employees guest interact with upon arriving to the park. Participants must be able to work long hours on their feet in various weather conditions
UNIFORM: All required uniforms are free of cost to participants. Additional pieces may be purchased; prices range from $8.50 to $38.00 depending on item. Please see details in Welcome Aboard letter.
Lifeguard: Swimsuit, hat/visor, tank top, shorts (for females), whistle, lanyard, nametag, water bottle. Additional pieces provided for cold weather.
Other positions: Tan colored (khaki) Shorts, Noah's Ark T-shirt, Nametag, Hat (for Food service)
HOUSING:
Motel Rooms: 2 people per room, each with separate bed, Shared Bathroom, Small refrigerator, Microwave, Closet/Dresser for clothing, Cable/Wi-Fi access
Houses: 2–4 bedrooms (2 people per room/separate beds), Shared Kitchen Facilities, Shared Bathrooms, Parking available free of charge for those with cars, Cable/Wi-Fi access
Based on availability, participants will be assigned housing upon job placement.
Price: $75.00/person/week. $150 non-refundable housing deposit - this is Administrative Fee which is utilized for deep cleaning of the room before arrival and upon participant departure. Housing deposit also includes new sheets/blankets for each participant.

The Wisconsin Dells:
The Wisconsin Dells area is made up of two communities, the City of Wisconsin Dells and the Village of Lake Delton. Wisconsin Dells has 2,444 year-round residents, while Lake Delton is home to 2,775. Wisconsin Dells is one of the most unique vacation destinations in the country. Natural beauty, ancient rock formations, found only from Germany, Switzerland and Wisconsin Dells. Wisconsin Dells is the Waterpark capital of the world, and is surrounded by miles of fun, indoor and outdoor waterparks, shopping and roller coasters, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
Attractions and activities in the area include primarily waterparks and rides. The Dells area has numerous indoor waterparks and outdoor waterparks, proclaiming itself the „Waterpark Capital of the World“. It is home to the largest outdoor waterpark in the U.S., Noah's Ark; the largest indoor waterpark resort (Wilderness Territory) and America's largest water and theme park resort, Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park. Other attractions include the Dells Boat Tours, mini golf, go-kart tracks, water sports, horseback riding, Tommy Bartlett's Thrill Show, Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, Timber Falls amusement and the Ho-Chunk Casino. There are festivals and events all year long as well as scenic tours, museums and interactive exhibits, live entertainment and theater as well as plenty of shopping, dining and nightlife! Most attractions are located on the Strip, otherwise known as the Wisconsin Dells Parkway. There is no public transportation system in Wisconsin Dells.
ARRIVAL info:
Participants should fly into Chicago and take a Greyhound bus to Wisconsin Dells. The bus ticket will cost between $15-$40 depending on when the participant buys the ticket. The trip usually takes about 3 hours. Upon arrival to the bus station in Wisconsin Dells, participants should arrange to take a taxi to Noah's Ark. Wisconsin Dells Taxi can be called at 608–253–7433. Cost of the taxi is approximately $12 with an additional charge of $2 per person.
