Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Category management: acts as Category specialist for Marketing and Sales categories' spend and drives improvements behind concept and processes leveraging on cooperation with Regional/Global Marketing/Trade Marketing & Sales spend categories' specialists and market Marketing/Trade Marketing colleagues for Czech and Slovak market. Manages and acts as Power User for the MyShop Catalogue in its category area driving system and process improvements in liaison with Global and Regional Procurement. Performs analysis and reporting of category spending, quality and services. Supports Regional and Global Indirect Procurement through best practice sharing and regional procurement projects.
• Marketing Supplier management: analyses markets for Marketing materials and services. Builds and expands supplier universe knowledge and supplier database to find the most suitable Marketing and Sales suppliers. Contracts the M&S category suppliers for Czech, building solid and long lasting supplier relationships and ensuring sufficient level of supplier consolidation which would allow scale benefits. Monitors suppliers’ performance, conducts annual supplier evaluation for respective categories key suppliers according to responsibility matrix and KPIs and takes improvement actions where necessary. Handles all the complaints and initiates corrective measures, including audits of suppliers.
• Category supplies:executes supplier bidding and negotiation processes for M&S category in close cooperation with respective colleagues to achieve best combination of quality, cost and service. Agrees on commercial conditions with suppliers by utilizing negotiation skills and experience. Monitors compliance with corporate procurement and purchasing policy, operating guidelines and code of conduct.
• Category supplies delivery: ensures timely and complete delivery of materials and services from suppliers to business requisitioner supported by qualitative documentation. Monitors the timeliness and correctness of the performance of the goods movement – receipt of a delivery/service in line with the KPI.
• Acts as a back-up to the other Procurement Category Specialist or Procurement Manager, when required.

• Acomplished High School or University degree
• Minimum one year experience in FMCG Indirect Procurement
• Native Czech or Slovak, English
• SAP knowledge, MS Office app user
