Responsibilities
You will be working as a steel construction fitter/welder in the company and or different sites. You will be working together with other steel construction fitters.
You will start working a 7. Sometimes you will be asked to work earlier, depending of the project and then you will driving to the clients location.
You will be fitting the steel construction according to the technical drawings and specifications:
The work can be described in the following stages:
Preparing:
- Welding with electrode, sometimes with Mig-Mag method
- Thickness of the material above 5mm, black steel only
- You will be loading and reloading steel element to the van and driving to the clients location.
- You will be reading the technical drawings, as you work is based on the structure plan (blueprint)
- You will choose the right tools for the fitting (all the elements have the number)
- You will measure the materials/tools and put mark signs on them
- You will control of the materials and components aren’t damage and if there are imperfection, you will make them fit into the other parts.
Execution of work:
- You will build steel constructions (on heights, maximum till 10 meters)
- You will be handling the hand tools
After-care:
- Finally you will control and measure the work you have done (with other colleagues)

Qualifications
Language knowledge: Communicative English, German or French
Necessary experience
- Minimum 3 last years experience as steel construction fitter/welder
- Experience with welding is necessary
- Experience with fittings on heights (the person should not be afraid of fitting on heights)
- Experience with reading of the technical documentation of the industrial constructions
Education
- Steel fitter/welder is very welcome but not necessary.
- The experience is more important for the client.

Salary Conditions
Gross salary…13€ gross/an hour
+6€ per day lunch vouchers
Social security scheme-: O 5-day scheme
37h/week
