For our client, new international R&D centre established in Prague, we have an opportunity for applicant for position Mechanical Designer with German language
Your task:
- you will be engaged in international R&D design projects
- CAD design work in SW CATIA both part design and / or design of product functional groups / subgroups such as mechanical parts of undercarriage, cabin interior layout and interior details, HVAC, cable trays, lighting, piping, brake systems, door systems, etc.
- you will be engaged in wide spectre of materials (design of metal, sheet metal and plastic parts)
- preparation of technical and project documentation, piece lists, blueprints
- communication / negotiating with clients, including opportunity to visit production plants
REQUIREMENTS:
- Secondary / University education – technical specialization (mechanical or/and electro specialization)
- relevant experience in mechanical design – automotive, rail or aerospace engineering
- experience from some from following areas: steel constructions, interiors (Visual and non-visual parts), HVAC system, light systems, door systems, brake systems, piping systems, gateways, couplings, engines and gear boxes, etc. is desired
- experience from design of metal, sheet metal, plastic end composite (something from above mentioned)
- experience in integration of vehicle subgroups and part into complex vehicle is welcomed
- Knowledge of some 3D SW: CATIA, NX Unigraphics , PRO E (CREO), Solid Works, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.
- knowledge of some PDM SW: Smarteam, Teamcenter, Windchill, etc. is an advantage
- communicative knowledge of German language, knowledge of English or French is an advantage
- project experience (communication / negotiating with clients, project coordination, design times estimation and planning) is an advantage
- able to travel abroad (seldom occasion) – training, business trips
