Global IT Security Engineer | HO | European Scope

Our client, a global company operating in the electronics manufacturing sector, is seeking a Global IT Security Engineer to support and enhance cybersecurity initiatives across multiple European locations. In this role, you will take ownership of vulnerability management, security operations, and infrastructure protection while collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders across Europe.

This position offers a combination of hands-on technical work, international project exposure, and the opportunity to influence security standards in a global environment, with flexibility to work partly from home and travel across Europe when required.

Popis pozice:

• Manage and continuously improve vulnerability management processes across European sites.
• Utilize security and automation tools to identify, prioritize, track, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Plan and coordinate security-related changes and maintenance activities with internal stakeholders to ensure business continuity.
• Perform proactive system monitoring and preventive maintenance of IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues affecting Windows clients and server environments.
• Ensure consistent implementation of corporate IT security standards, policies, and procedures at the local level.
• Collaborate with local and global IT teams to identify opportunities for improving security posture and reducing risk.
• Lead and coordinate security-related initiatives and projects, including documentation, administration, and stakeholder communication within an international IT operations environment.

Profil kandidáta:

• Secondary or university degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or a comparable role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of:
  • Windows operating systems
  • Endpoint protection and enterprise antivirus solutions
  • Network and server security
• Experience with:
  • Vulnerability management and remediation
  • User administration
  • Software deployment
  • Windows backup solutions
  • IT automation tools
• Understanding of ITIL Service Management principles and practical experience applying IT processes.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• German language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across Europe (approximately 30%).
