PURPOSE
The Software Developer produces software solutions for and customers and partners.
LOCATION
This Software Developer position shall be located in the office located in Prague, Czech Republish. This is not a position that typically requires travel, but business travel may be necessary occasionally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Software Developer II with passion, accountability, and drive; an entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do attitude: self-starter, project finisher and adaptable. Great communicator, able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies understandably and engagingly. Strong design and problem-solving skills, with a bias for full stack software development and architecting. Hands-on experience at delivering commercial and custom software solutions is a must; including both online and/or mobile technologies using C#, JavaScript, Xamarin, .Net Framework, .Net Core, Azure DevOps.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities but may act as may team/technical lead and/or coordinate technical activities as needed.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Has experience building commercial software solutions within a small team environment.
- Has degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis in software design, coding and testing.
- Has 6+ years of experienced with object-oriented programming and technologies like C#, .Net Framework, JavaScript and others.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Translate application user stories, storyboards, and/or use cases into functional software
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
- Comfortable with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
- Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standard
COMPETENCIES
- Experience with the Xamarin, Angular
- Familiarity with OOP design
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with popular web application frameworks
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and specific familiarity with Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with continuous integration
