Start – end date: Early June until September
The dates are not set. We are flexible, as we know the student will be busy at the end of the school year.
Position and duties:
Server/waitstaff
- Greet and welcome guests
- Be familiar with, and describe menu items and specials
- Take orders and cash/card payments
- Serve food and beverages
- Side work, including assisting in the kitchen, refilling salt & pepper shakers, prepping napkins and silverware, etc.
Requirements: Advanced English, friendly and outgoing personality. Previous serving experience is a plus!
Hourly wage: $3.02/hr + tips (and yes Americans tip servers. Generally, the average tip is 15% to 20% of the total meal cost)
Housing: Apartments above the restaurant, that can house the students. Rent ($300) will be deducted from paycheck.
